Commercial Driver Education
Research the Internet, peruse your local phone book, and ask around at truck stops for the best truck driving schools in your area. Most times, the school will provide you with a vehicle during training, and some allow you to use them for your driving tests.
You'll want to pick up a copy of the Commercial Driver's Manual from you local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Unfortunately, these manuals aren't available online, but the DMV will mail one to you upon request for free.
Trucking Schools
Some commerical trucking companies offer schooling in exchange for a commitment to work for them after training. Be sure to ask questions about the length of the commitment; after training you may be required to work for the company for a few months or a few years before you can venture out on your own.
